Blue Monkey Mountains (BMM) is conceived as a true eco-experience, where comfort and sustainability exist in perfect harmony. The property operates on an integrated rainwater harvesting system, storing over 180,000 litres to service the site. Organic waste and wastewater are naturally processed through a worm-farm system and returned to the land as nutrient-rich fertiliser. A solar energy system with battery storage powers the property, allowing it to function largely off-grid while minimising environmental impact. Together, these systems create a self-sufficient, low-impact environment where guests can experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains while treading lightly on the land.
